NFlightCam Aviation Surface Spud for Billet Mount

5 reviews
$ 19.99
- +

Please note: We discontinued the Billet Mount and replaced it with our Ball-Head Mount. This spud is compatible with the old, discontinued mount, so it should only be ordered if you purchased a Billet Mount previously.

-----------

With this rock-solid design, any #6, #8, or #10 machine screw becomes a camera-mounting point. Simply remove the screw and install the spud with a longer screw, and you have a camera hard point for the Nflightcam Exterior Billet Mount.

While the Nflightcam Exterior Billet Mount is a complete kit that includes a surface spud, you may want to purchase extra spuds to avoid taking them on and off every time you want to change mounting points on your plane.

What is included:

1 NFlightCam Surface Spud

Compatible with:

NFlightCam Exterior Billet Mount

NOT compatible with:

NFlightCam Exterior Ball-Head Mount (our newer version)

Spud for Billet Mount.

It does exactly what I expected: holds the camera mount in place. It works. A little expensive considering it's simplicity and size. Shipping was ridiculous too.

Rigid Surface Mount

Installing the Surface Mount is the perfect way to mount my GoPro outside my aircraft for superb videos. It works so well I installed one on my Harley as well.

No muss, no fuss!

Restoring a '68 Citabria. Installed "spud" on the top of the vertical fin. Fabricated a bushing w/10-32 thread welded in place to the tubing and AN960 washer welded to the tube to provide a flat surface under the "spud". Hardly noticeable when covered. Easy!
