Join Greg Miller and Patrick Carter as they explore High Country Canyons in Bushwhacker.  The Nflightcam+ was used to capture angles that have never been possible.  Check out the tail cam or belly cam during one of Greg's daring water landings or 100 yard mesa top arrivals. Nflightcam Gets a New Home

Posted on September 02, 2012 by 5 | 0 comments

Nflightcam has had several homes in its 2 year history.

It began in a hangar in Kansas as a new hobby for Patrick. Then it moved to spare bedrooms (ours' and his brother's), and in the fall of 2011, it finally got its very own official office.  A very small office, but still an official office. However, it became clear very quickly that a 300 square foot space was just not big enough. And Patrick's brother wanted his spare bedroom back. So, in July of 2012, Nflightcam got a new home! We just moved across the airport, but we now have a lot of room to make cameras.  Even big enough for Macey, our Great Dane mascot, to roam around.

All this extra room is making life much easier around here. We also have been enjoying the grill out back. If you're ever in the neighborhood, stop on by. Matt makes a mean burger.

Emily's Flight Lessons: FIRST SOLO!

Posted on May 14, 2012 by 5 | 0 comments
Hello! My name is Emily and I'm married to Patrick,  the owner and creator of  Nflightcam.  I'm going to be writing  about my adventures in learning to fly here at the Nflighcam Blog.  Of course, I'll be using Nflightcams to capture the flights.   Last week we scheduled a flight lesson nice and early to avoid those pesky winds, and my instructor suggested off handedly that I wear I shirt I didn't care too much about. I may be a new student pilot, but I haven't been married to a pilot for 8 years for nothing. I knew exactly what that meant. Time for a solo flight! Gulp. But even though I was really nervous, it was so much fun! And I'm pretty darn proud of myself too. Of course, it was all captured on an Nflightcam+.   Emily's First Solo Flight from Patrick Carter on Vimeo.

Patrick's First Helicopter Flight Lesson

Posted on March 13, 2012 by 5 | 0 comments
This week we're in Kauai, partnering with Mauna Loa Helicopters and doing a little helicopter training, too. In between setting up Nflightcams on their helicopters, Patrick has been taking flight lessons. I have to admit, I'm really enjoying the fact that Patrick is the student now. Perhaps he'll have a little more compassion on my struggles to learn how to land? Probably not. We have a short clip for you to see today. They didn't leave the airport during this first lesson, but we should have some amazing views to show you soon.
